Mixed review. Xifaxan helped, but I didn’t get the “life changing” result some people describe. It reduced symptoms, but not completely, and I still had trigger foods. Side effects were minimal—mild nausea and some fatigue. The improvement was enough to be worth it, just not perfect. I’d consider it again with my clinician if symptoms flare.

Xifaxan helped me feel less bloated and less uncomfortable after meals. The biggest difference was fewer sudden urgency episodes. I tolerated it well—no major stomach issues, just slight nausea early on. After the course, my energy improved because I wasn’t constantly drained. Overall, helpful and relatively easy to take.

Xifaxan was one of the easier medications I’ve taken for GI issues. It reduced diarrhea and bloating without making me feel sick. I still had to watch my diet, but my baseline improved. Mild side effects only: slight nausea and one day of headache. Overall, helpful and tolerable.

Xifaxan helped with IBS-D symptoms that were affecting work and social plans. I noticed fewer urgent trips and less abdominal cramping. The improvement was gradual, then became more consistent. I didn’t have major side effects, just mild nausea early on. Overall, it gave me a much-needed reset.

Xifaxan helped me feel less bloated and less reactive to food. The biggest change was fewer cramps and less urgency. I did experience mild fatigue, but it was hard to tell if it was the medication or the symptoms. After finishing the course, I felt more stable for a while. Helpful, but I still needed diet changes to maintain the effect.
